aYo Insurance Introduces Annual Cover on Recharge with Care. Daily Guide Network (Ghana), October 4, 2022.

Mobile microinsurance provider aYo Intermediaries Ghana has introduced a new feature in its Recharge with Care policy. It allows customers to make a one-time premium payment for full annual cover. The new feature allows customers to pay GH¢130 for a full year’s cover. Customers are then only paid a monthly premium of GH¢6 whenever they recharge MTN airtime and are provided with monthly life and hospital cover.

T-Pesa has launched a mobile phone–led insurance service that aims to reach over two million people in the next year. Bima na T-Pesa, the new insurance, has three products, including housing, motor vehicle, and personal insurance, which will be processed through mobile phone services.
